Food is by far the best ive had in a long time my bestfriends mother is from Mississippi & cooked alot for me growing up & ive never had anything close to her cooking then i came across Bentley bowls. Everytime i go to the southwest marketplace with my family i make sure to stop by & get me a mac bowl i love it ! You guys are amazing

Found them on TikTok from a review someone else left and Had to give them a try. First ordered off DoorDash and had to share with the girls in office cause the food is so flavorful I couldn't believe that shit😂 I recommend them to EVERYONE. They also go to the night markets on Saturdays if you miss them when they're open during the week but they sell out fast so get there early! I went today to the location off 29th st I believe and I love that instead of saying bye they yelled out "See you later" cause yea ma'am u will see my big back there again probably tomorrow if you're at the market. lol Overall food is absolutely delicious and everything they make is consistent,so it's ALWAYS bomb. 10/10 recommend

This establishment offers a very welcoming and pristine environment. I was particularly touched by the narrative shared by the mother of the two young men operating this business, who greeted me while preparing the morning's offerings. Their journey is truly inspiring, and I commend their achievements. Regarding the culinary experience, the food was presented promptly, fresh, and hot. A notable aspect was the balanced seasoning, which did not lead to an elevated blood pressure response post-consumption. The option to customize seasoning and dipping sauces was a thoughtful touch, demonstrating an understanding of individual preferences rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I sampled the vegan chicken, which, while an acquired taste, was not unpalatable. The cornbread was exceptional, featuring a perfectly crispy exterior and a moist, flavorful interior. The yams were prepared with a subtle sweetness, allowing the natural flavor of the yam to be appreciated. And t in Bakersfield, let me tell you—none of them come close to capturing that real, heartfelt, down-south, slow-cooked, made-with-love flavor like Bentley Bowls does. Every bite reminds me of home—comforting, flavorful, and soulful. This place knocked the cover off the ball. Amazing, amazing, amazing. The food was homemade with love and deliciousness! The staff were friendly and made the suggestion to try the strawberry cornbread. Amazing! We tried their classic Mac Bowl which was mac & cheese and their bite-size fried chicken. My favorite sauce with it was the barbecue! Sweet and tangy. The cornbread was fresh crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. I got one of the original and one strawberry cornbread. Both were delicious, but the strawberry is divine (tastes like funnel cake) we also had their homemade Sweet Tea and Lemonade -chefs kiss We'll definitely be back!
